Disney style tags & tag gift box

Oh my, where do I start. I mean it's Disney inspired. It's washi tape. It's cuteness knows no bounds, in my humble opinion.

I was inspired to create this Cricut .cut file originally, by this beautiful project on Pinterest. You can see my first creation after having created the Cricut .cut file, posted here. Which made a fun little birthday present I gave to a friend at work. And now I have another birthday for a friend, another Disney fanatic, so I was inspired to create this set. Dare I admit how easy it was to put this together since I had a ton of Disney color coordinating supplies to choose from? I have a long standing love of Reasonable Ribbon monthly ribbon club and I have a new found but ever growing love of washi tape (or paper tape, as washi might actually be a brand name. I'm not sure). So far I have found all of my washi tape at really great prices offered at Groopdealz. But you have to move fast there, because their washi tape offers go FAST! So I must not be the only one with the addiction.

I created this .cut file using Cricut George Basic Shapes cartridge in Design studio. So if you use those and would like to recreate this project in your own styles, I am happy to share this file. Leave a comment below, including your email address and I will send it out to you.

Ruffled tote bag

It's been sooo long. Sorry. I was suffering from bronchitis and my family all got it too. Of course it takes me the longest to recover from it. Ugh. But I think I am getting my mojo back. I have been playing with paper a little. But it's nothing new, just repeats of projects I have already shown, but I have been knitting and sewing up a storm. I seem to do this once or twice a year, just switch gears completely and go for the fibre's and fabrics instead of paper. This is one of those fabric projects I have been eager to do. I have pinned on Pinterest a bunch of these ideas, the one that influenced the final project the most is this one. This will make a nice trick or treating bag.

Envelope mini album

I made this mini album for a friend, a brag book for her to load some vacation photos in quickly. I took elements of inspiration from tons of different mini books I have seen from all over the internet for as long as I have been checking out different minis. The finished size of the album is 5.5 x 8.25 inches, and it will hold 60 full sized photo's.

I used a 4.5 x 6.5 inch paper stack by The Paper Studio called Stonewashed, I believe I picked it up at Hobby Lobby. A bunch of different stickers and some mini stamps to add some titles and details.

The base is made from 5 x 7 inch kraft envelopes, also from Hobby Lobby.

The pull out tag style pages are cut on my Cricut, mostly so that I could have the circle pull tab on each page. I reinforced it with kraft scallop punches.

The covers where made from recycled corrugated card board that I covered with more of the patterned paper from the paper pack. I added a tie of CTMH Denim blue grosgrain ribbon and bound the book covers and envelope pages with my bind it all. I added a little baggy full of different sized tags and shapes for quick and easy spots of journaling.
