March paper pumpkin alternatives

I took last months SU! Paper Pumpkin kit and plussed them to full A2 sized cards. I stitched one card just to test it out and quickly decided it was too much work for my taste.  

I thought the striking black and white geometric shapes lent themselves to coordinating with bold bright colors. So I used SU! Melon Mambo, Pool Party and Daffodil Delight.

I made three of the Thank You cards and three of the Happy Birthday to You design. I love these stamps that come with the kit. So versatile and usable on so many designs. These are quick and simple to put together but pack a lot of punch.

Painted Blooms and Lovely Amazing You card gift set

Making some quick and simple gift sets using the gorgeous SU! Painted Blooms DSP as the main focal point. I layered it onto coordinating card stocks and onto an embossed piece of white card stock.

I added a simple SU! Blackberry Bliss ribbon and tied a bow with the thick twine. I glued on 3 random sequins for a lil bling.

I stamped these sentiments multiple times using my MISTI, so that I could achieve the deep dark SU! Blackberry Bliss color. Then I punched them out and layered on the scallop circle, popping it up over the ribbon. These cards went together very quickly, but you would never know it, I think they turned out very cute.

Irresistibly yours for Easter

Happy Easter! These are two simple cards made using the Stampin' Up! Irresistibly Yours papers cut into banners and inked with a sponge. I colored small sections of vellum paper with Blendabilities and then punched the butterflies. I also colored the pearls with the Blendabilities.

Ink the edges and tie a bow and layer it on a card base. Easy Peasy and a bright and cheery Easter card. I hope everyone has a blessed day full of family, fun and a lil bit of good chocolate.
