Paper Pumpkin alternative cards

Wow! I made these a long while ago and never shared them. These are alternative projects to the SU! Paper Pumpkin kit from probably May of 2016. Ha ha!!! Sorry for the delay. Still fun though.

The above card I used a sponge and sponged over the Pool Party colored Happy sticker, that came in the kit, with Night of Navy ink. I also die cut a couple of Night of Navy stars and embossed them with a star embossing folder. The laser cut card bases were part of the kit, they came that way. I just lined it with yellow card stock to make it really pop.

These 2 cards are more true to the kits instructions and colors. Not a huge fan of the orange and Pool Party but I wanted to put a few together as they intended.

Birthday card set

A set of birthday cards made with one of my favorited SU! Paper pumpkin stamp sets. I still can't get enough of it.

It's so easy to make bright, cheery cards.

This color combinations is Wild Wasabi, So Saffron, Pool Party and Calypso Coral.

A little sponging around the edges and a little flicking of ink from coordinating pens and they are finished and fabulous!!!

Sketch challenge card

This was a sketch challenge card I made to participate in my uplines SU! catalog kick off. Yep, again several months back. But its super cute. I let the paper do all the hard work. So anyone could copy this layout and just change up the paper stack they use. I love the depth added by layering everything on black paper for just a touch of definition between patterns. Give it a try.

Perfect pairings masculine birthday card

Yep, I've been a slacker. I have been creating, I just have not been in the mood to blog about it. So little time, so many fun crafts. I had to cut something back.

This was a design for a class card held late last year. I was inspired by this lovely card. I changed it up to be gender neutral or slightly masculine. The sides of the card base are lined with SU! Soft Sky striped washi tape, then we have a layer of SU! Night of Navy card stock topped with the stamped layer of SU! Whisper White. The sentiment is stamped repeatedly in an attempt at the ombre effect with SU! Soft Sky, Marina Mist and Night of Navy inks. I then flicked Wink of Stella Silver all over the stamped piece and added the ribbon and punched star for the final details.
