The Stamps of Life Circles of Circles dies

I used the awesome Stamps Of Life Circles of Circles dies and a few different sized circle punches to create these pretty layered cards. On the yellow card I selectively lined behind the circles with SU! Crushed Curry DSP leaving some unlined so the black matting paper could show through some also. On the red card I cut a piece of SU! Cherry Cobbler polka dot paper the same size as the white layer then I matted those layers onto a SU! Crumb Cake layer. Both are tied with some coordinating ribbon and embellished with a few rhinestones.

I think these cards are fun and funky, with lots of wow without a lot of work. Perfection!!!

January's black and white theme swap cards

My swap group theme was black and white cards with one additional color. I chose SU Pool Party to go with the new glitter ribbon. The stamp is a retired hostess set and the embossing folder is also retired. I punched flowers out of card stock and after adhering them I added a rhinestone to the center.

All ready to mail off to my swap group. Black, white and Pool Party elegance. I like it.

Stampin' Up! What I Love sympathy cards

A completely different feel to these cards, compared to my first shared cards. These are also simple yet gorgeous in SU! Pool Party and Pear Pizzaz inks on the Sale-A-Bration stamp set What I Love.

Soft and soothing in these colors. Classic.

Garden in bloom cards

These cards were inspired by this beautiful card design. I loved this and thought it showcased how easy it is to create such a beautiful card using SU! Garden In Bloom stamp set. The sentiments are all from SU! A Tin Of Cards stamp set.

I designed these cards for my once a month Stamp-A-Stack class attendees to make. They loved them.

This color combo is SU! Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral and Wild Wasabi with a little bit of Early Espresso too.

And this combination is SU! Pool Party, Marina Mist, Crushed Curry, Hello Honey, Pear Pizzaz and more Early Espresso inks. I added a little SU! Dazzling Diamond Details to the wings of the bees too.

Baby theme swap cards

This was one of the tougher swap card themes for me. I pulled out long unused baby theme stamps and searched through paper stacks for some baby papers. I added little extra details with scallop border punch and using the Cutterbug piercing tool with my SU! Score board I made a row of pierced dots along the top and bottom of the stamped accent strip.

Up Cycled Craft Packaging to Mini Album

I went a little crazy at Scrapbook Expo last year, purchasing Darice embossing folders. So many beautiful patterns and the awesome offer of  "purchase multiples, get them cheaper". I have 6 sturdy cardboard packaging pieces, all the same size, just begging me to reuse not toss them. Ok, challenge accepted.

I glued the short front flap of one piece to the backside of the next piece to create the hinge end of the mini album. I used an Elmer's X-treme glue stick. I love these and stock up on them each back to school sale time.

With all the glued pieces together and the end squared up I clamped them with binder clips and let them dry overnight.

I chose an older DCWV paper stack for my pages and cut them to fit the pages. Again using the Elmer's X-treme glue stick I attached all the patterned paper to the pages and trimmed the edges where needed.

Here's a peek at the finished pages.

And the beginnings of my cover.

A little cover embellishment, so far.  (It's funny the pictures look so different because one is taken by lamp light and the final pic was taken by natural day light.)

This will make a great brag book to fill with pictures of my family.
