Stash building, scrap using cards

These are more cards I have been making at work during my lunch breaks. My friend and I were inspired by this idea found on Pinterest, we are trying to keep the design fairly simple and being able to use up scraps is an added bonus. I liked the simple design and the two rounded corners for variety.

I am using CTMH Florentine papers, Olive ink and coordinating organza ribbons.

This is the CTMH Pemberley paper, Pacifica ink and more coordinating organza ribbons.

  1. Heh Cathy, how did you create the even tic marks around the edges? Are you steady Eddy with your hands and just do them or is there some special tool you are using?

Love these cards! Love all ideas on how to use up those scraps!

  2. Ha! Debbie your funny. If you double click on the photos it opens them up bigger, then you can see they are not even. But thats half the charm. I just used my coordinating CTMH pens to make the faux stitch marks this time. But I have seen stitch mark stamps, CTMH had one recently but it has been discontinued now.
Glad you like the ideas, I love getting to use up scraps to make more pretty things.
    Thanks for your comments.
