Animal cookies gift box
I made this gift box on my Cricut using Design studio software. I used the George basic shapes cartridge in the design studio. The box was inspired by a Bic pen box I saw at work. I dismantled it and took the measurements, actually doubling the depth of it because I thought this was a more useful gift box size. I added the simple cut out oval to the top and lined it with acetate before assembling the box. I also added the decorative papers to the 4 sides before taping the tab closed to make the box shape. That just makes it so much easier to add the patterned paper. The finished measurements for this gift box are 6 inches x 2.5 inches x 2 inches.
The top is decorated with SU! triple heart punches. I used scraps from several patterns, all from the CTMH Animal cookies paper pack. Some are pop dotted up to add texture and variety. I would be happy to share the cricut cut file, just leave me a comment on this post, including your email address and I will send it out to you. Enjoy!
