Honeycomb Happiness cards

I designed this card after this beauty, for a SU! Stamp-A-Stack class. I used the adorable SU! Honeycomb Happiness set, some neutrals DSP and some embossed resist paper. I water colored the chickadee in SU! Blushing Bride and cut her out so I could mount her directly over a second image stamped on the card stock circle. Lots of sponging and a little sequins action and she is properly blinged up and ready for giving.

I had a few pre-cut sets left over after class so I played around with different layouts and stamps.

Balloon Celebration birthday cards

These cute birthday cards where inspired by this pinned beauty. I shrank the card base and upped the balloon count. The card base is 4.25 x 4.25 intentionally. With the balloons extending upwards past the fold line they will still fit into a standard A2 sized envelope.

I always love a project that allows me maximum washi tape usage. This fit the bill. I used tons of different selections from SU!. I stamped with SU! Balloon Celebration set in Momento Tuxedo Black ink on various card stock and punched out the balloons with the coordinating punch.

Sketch challenge card

A sketch challenge card I created. I used SU! English Garden DSP, Melon Mambo and Blushing Bride card stock and 1/8th inch Melon Mambo ribbon on a Vintage Faceted button and a portion of a doily. The Crushed Curry polka dots on the background were made using the stamp from SU! Garden in Bloom set. The sentiment is from SU! Greatest Greetings set.

Sketch challenge in SU! Birthday Bouquet DSP

This card was created for a sketch challenge. I decided to let the GoRgEoUs paper do all the hard work on this baby. This is SU! Botanical Blooms paper and I love every single thing about it. The color combinations, the soft watercolor feel, its just perfect. I did stamp the sentiment and the card base, then layered all the dsp designs on SU! Blushing Bride card stock and embellished with a twine bow and some glitter paper punched circles. Depending on what sentiment you put inside it could be a beautiful birthday, mother's day, thinking of you....anything really, card.

This is what happens when I have scraps of beautiful papers sitting on my work space. I love when something that might have been tossed into the trash can be used for something beautiful. Simply darling.

Washi note card gift set

These cards are perfect to me. Such a simple way to make an elegant note card. Who am I kidding? I love these because they USE AN INCREDIBLE AMOUNT OF BEAUTIFUL WASHI TAPE.

I case'd this gorgeous card  here, first. But as is my way, I couldn't stop at just one. And I do have a crazy amount of gorgeous Washi Tapes in my stash. So off I went.

Some twine, some epoxy dots colored with any form of coordinating alcohol markers and this is now a fun set of note cards to gift to someone. I do believe I am going to need to make more of these. Many more.

Washi tape birthday cards

I may have gone just a little washi tape crazy....Maybe.

I am in love with the SU! It's My Party pretties. I love the color combinations. These cards were inspired by this card. This is my first design combining the SU! SAB Hello and SU! Balloon Celebration stamp sets.

Then I decided it would be really bold against black card stock. So I recreated them again. Both are cute and pretty.

Washi tape cards

This card was a little fussy to complete, but it was oh so worth it.

I started with this Pinspiration. I ended up changing it by making strips of paper covered in SU! It's My Party washi tape and then punching out the balloon shapes. I pulled apart SU! thick bakers twine to use for the balloon strings. The fussy part started with laying the strings on the back side of the balloons, I then covered the string with a dimensional. Next I arranged them on the card front and pulled the string down to one spot. I tied the knot on the strings and snipped the rough edges and adhered it down with a glue dot. Finally I peeled the dimensional cover off and started adhering them to the card. Like I said fussy but worth it.

This one was a direct CASE from this bold beauty. I added a little extra embellishment with the bakers twine and the SU! white perfect accents, three of which I colored with sharpie markers. I added a mat of black card stock for a little framing. I really like the elegant simpleness of this card design.
