Thank you card

This is made with adorable stamps I received for my birthday from my sweet mom. Thanks mom!! So easy to make a cute background surrounding the SU! sentiment.

These are the tricks of the trade. I did learn that the VersaFine ink needs a few moments to dry, so if you move too fast, you run the risk of smudging the black ink. Not good. So be patient.

I am loving my new Wink of Stella clear glitter pen, its my first, and I love the subtle shine without texture that I can add to any design I want. Beautiful!!!

Polka dot birthday cards

These are some gorgeous backgrounds created with my MISTI and Papertrey Ink Polka Dot Background stamps. I am loving this set again. Supe-dee-duper easy to line up and stamp (and stamp again if needed) with the MISTI!!! Yahoo!

Goodness, I made these a month ago or more, so I am guessing at the colors now. I believe this is SU! Calypso Coral. On all three of these cards I added some SU! Petite Petals, ribbon and lace. The sentiments are from Papertrey Ink. 

This I believe to be stamped in SU! Coastal Cabana.

And finally SU! So Saffron. The smaller the background polka dots got the harder it was to get them perfectly lined up and repeated for a full background of polka dots, but this is still WAY better than what I could have managed stamping them with a block.

Paper stack cards

I saw this paper-centric card design on Operation Write Homes Facebook page and new that these gorgeous Basic Gray papers I have been hoarding would look lovely showcased this way.

And is my nature, I could not just make one while I was cutting into this paper pack.

I have lost track of what paper pack these designs were from. But it was all one paper stack.

I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite of these simple cards. It's wonderful when beautiful paper makes the card come together so easy.

Beautiful brads card

I saw this card design on a Facebook group a while ago. I shared my creations there but never here on my lil blog. This is a great way to showcase some beautiful brads. Draw a line on your card front paper, then emboss it in the folder of your choice. Place your brads, then attach your sentiment strip and layer on coordinating card stock and attach all of that to the card base. 

In this set of fancy brads I had plenty to do these two cards and more. Love how it really shows of the brads.

Irresistibly yours card set

A set of cards I made as a thank you gift for a class participant who brought a new guest. I used SU! Irresistibly yours papers and sponged on inks. Layered on black card stock and then coordinating card stock. The SU! Lovely Amazing You make sweet simple sentiments to add to the card fronts.

Paper pumpkin leftovers card

Lots of variations of this seen around the internet. This is my take. Orange felt Thanks left over from a recent Paper Pumpkin kit. I added Melon Mambo and Crushed Curry ink and paper. It's a legal sized envelope and I lined it with stamped printer paper to cover up the ugly print on the inside of the envelope. 

Sorry I have been MIA from my blog, I am crafting and creating, cohosting monthly SU! Stamp-a-stack classes too, but I just am not motivated to sit down and type up descriptions to accompany my photos of projects.
